Students must be at least 18 years old and have a qualifying need or diagnosed disability, such as, but not limited to deaf/hard of hearing, high functioning MR, autism, Asperger's, cerebral palsy, and/or other learning disabilities. Student Life SCHI is located on a 25-acre campus in northwest San Antonio, Texas near the South Texas Medical Center. Public and para transportation stops are located at our entrance. SCHI students enjoy a variety of recreational activities both on and off campus. Optional spiritual activities, such as Bible study and Sign of the Times choir, are guided by our Chaplain. Opportunities for socialization are incorporated throughout the daily and weekly structured activities schedule. Campus Facilities include: |
