Matching Gift Company Does the company you work for offer matching gifts? You can often double the size of your gift by supplying Methodist Mission Home with information on your employer. In-Kind If you have items or services that are beneficial to Methodist Mission Home and the people we serve, you can receive a tax receipt for your gift. Items that are needed for SCHI students include professional clothing, exercise equipment such as exercycles, treadmills or weight sets. Also sports equipment for softball, soccer and basketball. Adoption Services needs Infant car seats, new baby quilts and handmade layette sets, and body pillows for the birthmothers. Services needed included sign making and social media marketing. Specialized needs included a van with a wheel chair lift for transporting students to activities. This could be new or used. Christmas ideas are a karaoke machine, a DVD player, and a Wii game console to be used by all the students. Small amount gift cards to Wal-Mart and H-E-B or any other unused gift cards are also appreciated. Annual Church Offering Methodist Mission Home does not receive apportionments from the Methodist churches. We rely on individual churches making a special collection for our ministry each year.
