OUR MARRIAGE
We have been happily married for 15 years and have been in a committed relationship for the past 22 years.  We are high school sweethearts who have built our lives together through support, communication, honesty and love.  We have been through difficult times and our relationship just keeps on getting stronger.  We are partners in everything we do and want to share our love with a child.

About Jim by Irene
Jim is a calm, caring, responsible man who puts his family first and foremost.  He is my best friend and the love of my life.  Every day he makes me smile and every day I fall in love with him more and more.  There isn’t anything that Jim wouldn’t do for those that he loves.  He is a man of great integrity with much compassion.  He is truly a genuine, good, decent man.

About Irene by Jim
I knew the first time I saw Irene that I wanted to marry her; yes, I was only 16 years old but I loved her immediately.  Most couples who are high school sweethearts don’t last this long but we have made it work and our love just keeps getting stronger and stronger. Irene is outgoing, confident, nurturing and compassionate.

OUR HOME
We have built a beautiful four bedroom home in a quiet, safe suburb of a large metropolitan city.  Our home has a large fenced in backyard and there is access to a community pool and playground.  The area schools are well regarded and the elementary school is just a few blocks away in our neighborhood. We have the advantage of being in a big city area with access to museums, cultural and sporting events as well as having access to the local family activities offered in our community.            

OUR LIFE
We are fortunate to have stable, enjoyable jobs which offer a wide range of financial, health care and other family based benefits.   Jim works as an auto technician and has technical degrees in automotive and heating and air conditioning technology.  Irene works in the mental health field as a social worker and has a Masters degree in social work.  Irene truly enjoys advocating for and showing compassion to her clients.  Irene was a high school and college athlete and continues to enjoy all types of exercise.  She enjoys walking in the park and swimming. She also has a passion for reading and poetry.   Jim has a passion for motor sports, outdoor activities, and cooking.  In our travel we have hiked in the Tennessee Mountains, have done water sports in Mexico and have enjoyed the music and sights of Chicago.  We both enjoy keeping up with our favorite sporting teams and attending the different festivals and cultural activities that living near a big city allows.  What we enjoy most is spending quality time together with our two gentle dogs; Sassy and Dakota. They love to play catch and go to the dog park and are truly a part of our family.
          
OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY
We grew up in the same small town in the Midwest part of the country and went to high school together.  We moved to the Southwest 15 years ago due to job and school opportunities and have considered this place home ever since.  While both sides of our family still reside in Indiana, we are close to them, especially Irene’s sister who has 2 young children ages 6 months and 4 years old.  Our parents and extended family members come often to visit and are excited for our family to grow. We have also created our own family through our network of close friends and their extended families.  We have watched their children grow, have been a part of their activities, and always spend the holidays together.  They too are excited that our family will grow.
